Description

Pepper is one of the most common spices used to add flavour to food around the world. Add as little or as much to your recipes as desired.

Great for flavouring sausage meals, burger patties and salamis. The finer textured kibble (16/24) gives great taste and texture without overpowering the meal.

Here are two of our tried and tested receipes using our 16/24 Cracked Pepper:

Pork Sausage Recipe

  • 1kg Pork Mince (belly or shoulder)
  • 20-22gm Meat Salt
  • 10g Cracked Black Pepper (16/24)
  • 150ml Ice cold water
  • 10g Ground Fennel

Method: Coarsely mince pork, add meat salt and mix until you feel the texture change / firm. Add iced water and continue mixing thoroughly. Mix through the pepper and ground fennel, now you’re ready to fill those sausage skins or use as a sausage roll filling!

Best Beef Burger Patties

  • 1kg Beef Mince
  • 20-22 Meat Salt
  • 10g Cracked Black Pepper (16/24)

Method: Mix all ingredients until patties are firm and slightly sticky, roll into desired size and fry or BBQ.
